Question

A few of my cherry tomatoes have what looks like chunks bitten out of them. What is this?

Could it be a spider that is eating them? Obviously this is happening on my cherry tomato plant.

Without seeing a picture of them it is hard to answer the question. Are they inside or out? Big bites or small? Could be birds or mice or even rats, slugs or caterpillars, are there any tell tales signs around the plants? Like i stated before a picture or pictures would help.
