The title of your project should be descriptive enough to give people a good idea of what it is you require. Examples of good titles could be "Plumber required for new kitchen installation" or "Large yard to be landscaped, approx. 250sqm".

The location of your project will be used to notify workers who are in the same region as where you want the job to be carried out. As you enter the town name we will attempt to offer you suggestions for your town name, HOWEVER please make sure you choose the correct one from your country.

The project description should detail everything relevant to your project. Be sure to include anything you think is even slightly relevant to the project so that workers get the full picture. After the project has been posted for bidding, you will not be able to edit the title or description, although you'll be able to post messages that everyone can see if you wish to make additions later. When you reply to users by default other users cannot read your messages.

Please DO NOT include any contact details whatsoever in your description, this includes website addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers.

Remember if this job is for a tradesman, if you can, supply the measurements for the work needed as this is a common question you'll be asked otherwise.

The project start date is when your job should start. The close date is a deadline of your job (could be empty).

Service categories allow you to specify what sorts of people are likely to be able to do the work that you require.

Select the most relevant category. We'll notify applicable workers with your project using the category you have chosen and the location. If you require different types of work completed then create separate projects for each.

Example: plumbing, bricklaying, painting, hair stylist.

Bidding type defines how workers can bid for your project.

"Connection by Message" - a little more time consuming so not for urgent jobs.

Target: Projects which don't need a home visit prior to quoting and generally are NOT for trades/building projects

"Time Slot Method" means that you will specify several time slots when you are available to see workers at your premises. Workers will apply for a time slot and you choose whether to accept them for that time. The workers will then come and see the job and give you a quote. This is the best option if your job is a trade job. Like Website Bidding you will be under no obligation to accept a quote.

If you only create one time slot then you'll only be able to accept one worker. If you create two time slots then you can accept 2 workers and so on.

"Connection by Telephone" - fast and efficient, have workers telephone you to discuss your project.

Target: Trades/building related as these workers tend to be on the road often and don't have time to contact you online.

You can specify a project price range. This will also set maximum bid amount of the project. Use this feature if you're constrained by a budget. Be careful not to set the maximum bid too low or you may miss out on the services of some quality professionals. If you aren't constrained by a budget or aren't sure how much the project will cost, leave all features selected.

You can add as many files to the project as you wish in order to help detail the project to those who may wish to place a bid for the work. Files can be anything from relevant documents to photos to floorplan images.
